Art Direction & Visual Strategy

As an Art Manager and Creative Producer, I lead the development of visual language across AAA games and branded content. From style guides and moodboards to cross-discipline reviews and milestone tracking, I help teams deliver stunning, cohesive visuals — while honoring IP, gameplay, and player experience.
“My art direction approach balances creative freedom with production clarity.”

My Focus

  • Visual storytelling
  • Creative decision-making
  • Style development and execution
  • Brand/IP fidelity
  • Moodboards, concept art, UI direction, asset consistency

What's your visual taste and direction style?

My visual taste is grounded in cinematic realism, intuitive worldbuilding, and branded elegance. I’m drawn to cohesive, emotionally resonant visuals that support both gameplay and narrative. Whether I’m working on a magical world like Hogwarts Legacy or a high-intensity shooter like Call of Duty, I focus on clarity, mood, and immersion — aligning tone with purpose.

Stylistically, I balance strong structure with creative freedom. I value clarity in layout and hierarchy, especially in UI/UX contexts, and I always champion visual consistency across screens, systems, and formats.

How do you communicate aesthetics and brand?

Picture
I communicate aesthetics through reference-based direction, concise visual language, and accessible documentation. I build style guides that are as readable as they are rigorous — tools that empower teams instead of restricting them.

When working with licensed IPs (like Wizarding World), I act as a visual translator between brand stakeholders and creative teams. I ensure we protect what makes the IP iconic while allowing our artists to create something fresh and relevant. I also maintain constant alignment through visual feedback rounds, side-by-side comps, and annotated callouts — bridging the gap between vision and execution.

How do you build or maintain a visual language?

Picture
I begin by aligning key stakeholders around a core aesthetic principle — whether it’s “storybook realism” or “military modularity.” I then break that into practical visual systems: color palette, typography, environment mood, character silhouettes, UI components, and motion behavior.

To maintain that language throughout production, I centralize it in living documents: style guides, component libraries, and branded references. I pair these with regular visual reviews, cross-discipline alignment (especially with design and engineering), and asset checklists to ensure consistency without creative bottlenecks.
